When and where?
Tuesdays, 5:30pm @ the intersection of Red Creek Springs road and Pueblo boulevard in Pueblo, CO
Is it on this week?
Yes, unless it’s freezing rain.
If it’s raining, we’re on. If it’s snowing, we’re on. If it’s Christmas, we’re on. Under 40 degrees and raining? Naw. That’s just terrible. The ride is absolutely at your own risk, and you are expected to prepare yourself as you deem appropriate for the conditions. Follow your common sense, read industry articles, ask us questions. We’ll try to point you to resources.
Format & Pace
The goal is to push yourself beyond the pavement realm!
challenge by choice. Set your own pace, whatever that is.
This ride is a space for anyone to try gravel at their level. What that means will be different to everyone. So the ride functions a bit differently than you may be used to. The ride begins and ends at the same place, with a set start time (530pm) and end time (7pm). This is a no-drop ride. You won’t get ditched. The group will naturally split up and stretch out by pace on the way out, and group back up on the way back. Some people may go much further than others in that timeframe. And that’s ok!
The route
It’s simple. Up Red Creek Springs, then to Red Creek West.
Turn around when it’s appropriate so you’re back at the start by 7pm. See a map here.
At your own risk.
Just like it says.
We love you; keep yourself safe. This ride is absolutely at your own risk. Use common sense, know your equipment, wear appropriate safety gear, use lighting when appropriate and follow traffic laws. Want to participate? Sign our waiver please.
