Learn and improve bike repair skills
Bike repair is for everyone! But where do you start? And how do you improve your skills?
In this workshop co-led by Bicycle Colorado and Grassroots Gravel we’ll cover the most commonly asked questions as well as ones that may come up that day. Registration is free, but it’s required and space is limited!
Topics will include:
How do you remove and reinstall a wheel?
How should you clean your bike and lube your chain?
How do you change a tube?
Tube vs Tubeless…what? And why?
What should you bring on a ride?
Who should register?
Any person (12+) interested in learning the basics of repairing their own bike. That means EVERYONE! Brand new to biking? Ridden forever but want new skills? This is for you. And all bike types are welcome too. Registration is free, but it’s required and space is limited!
When is the workshop?
The Roadside Repair Basics workshop is on Saturday, March 29 at 1:00pm and will wrap up by 3:00pm. Plan to be there for the start!
Where is the workshop?
The workshop will take place at the Rotary Pavilion in Pueblo City Park. You can park in the main lot that's also shared by the Pueblo Zoo. Use 3455 Nuckolls Ave, Pueblo CO as an address to get there.
What to bring:
Yourself, ready to learn and have fun!
A water bottle for yourself
If it's feasible, your bike (or ride there!)
Clothing appropriate to stay warm or cool (event is outdoors)
